First ever modular smartphone built was by Google/Motorola early 2015 and announced it as Project Ara.(There has been rumor that it will be officially lunched at 2016 but still no rumor of lunching it at market)

Now lets talk about another modular smartphone called Puzzle phone projectPuzzle phone project can be personalized at both operating system and hardware levels as well due its such great property got attention of Fraunhofer IZM. Puzzle phone was announced by the Finnish tech startup circular devices Oy.
